Point/Counter-point

Why would a supreme being have any interest in us?
Why would he create the infinite infinities and still take an interest in anything that happened here.  Why, if he could and most likely did, create an infinite number of worlds and people would he care if I blasphemed his name?  Why would such a thing become a criteria for acceptance into his afterworld?  Why would he establish any rules?  If he did create a set of criteria by which we could be judged, why did it all come out as things that were more or less standard rules as set by laws of the time and also be so very constricting as to be practically impossible to follow.  Does it seem convenient that Jesus came and gave an easier out?

Theologians may argue that it's easier, but compared to the old laws of ascension it is markedly easier to enter the kingdom of heaven in the new testament.  I don't begin to be able to spout scriptures or argue much about what the bible really says, so I'll refrain from continuing this line.

However.....

 Why does everything seem so convenient?
